I have been playing bass for 30 years and this is the best bass I have ever owned. I have had vintage Fenders, Spectors, Warwicks, Cirrus etc. I would choose this bass over any other bass I have played. I have played rock, fusion, praise and worship, jazz, country and everything sounded great.

I usually don't write reviews but this bass is great. I have small hands and this bass neck is narrow enough for smaller hands but still wide enough to do slapping. Plays like butter.

.This bass has a very powerful sound. Action on the neck is great, spacing between strings is just perfect for slapping. i can switch up my sound to play all styles. the only problem is that this machine is heavy...i do a lot of playing live so i like to have something a little light, but i have been able to handle it lately because no other sound compares. Not even my Warwicks.

.The best bass I've ever played. As versatile as Nathan East plays in every genre of music. The mid sweep is so great to shape the tone that no other bass has. Very neat finishing and craftsmanship. You only need this one bass to cover all kinds of music you play. The low in insane, the treble is rich and sparkling. Very worth it with the price.
Yamaha BBNE2 Nathan East Signature Model Black
.The bass itself is wonderful in almost every way: easy to play and be expressive, easy to adapt to any style of music, and sounds deep, rich and full.
My only complaint is with the seller: The item description says that the "case is sold separately" so I bought a case also. This needs to be changed by the seller. The bass arrived, boxed and in a very nice case. So, the item description should be changed to say "comes with a case".
I was able to use the "extra" case for another bass that I have.

.The sound of this instrument is great, one of the best. But that is a pity the distance between the strings. The strings are very, very close and for my small hands is just a curse. I am waiting for the same model with a wide neck, 19 or 20 inches bridge. It makes a big difference while playing.

.As I said previously, this is an awesome bass. I own seven basses and this one is truly a keeper.

.I play jazz, funk, salsa and sometimes at church. Fits the bill for all of that.
