I'm self taught and not a very well trained but I love guitars. In the last 20+ years I have purchased almost 30 different instruments. My first guitar was a FG401 and this year for Christmas my kids gave me an FX335. I absolutely love this guitar. The sound quality is great. It is comfortable to play. Stays in tune very well. It just feels right in your hands. I don't have an acoustic amp but it sounds wonderful through my Marshal in clean settings.

.It's a great guitar but it lacks that sweet sound. I can't explain. You know that crisp sound that comes from a takamine, it doesnt have that. It's a great guitar and I enjoy it but its not pro level.

I've a great many guitars, including 4 guitars, this being the fourth!! After changing the strings to medium light ,martin strings, this guitar outplays anything I own!! Not only is the pickup system incredible, but right out of the box this guitar absolutely rocks. The sound is complex, versatile, and rich sounding. I cannot believe what an incredible guitar this is for the price. I've others much more expensive, that don't deliver the way this guitar does. If you've one guitar (acoustic electric) to purchase this should be it.

.This is a great guitar for the money. I got it for Memorial Day sale can't beat it. This sounds just as good if not better then the FG730s I just purchased last week.. I was never a guy because I have a nice Martin at home. I wanted 1 or 2 other guitars to use for work and just another extra one. I was shocked to hear the nice sweet tone come out of this and I never touched a guitar in my life since I like Martin and Taylor guitars. For the price and if you are a beginner or on a budget get this guitar. Everyone said makes good guitar now I believe them. I intended on getting an Epiphone Hummingbird but this sounds so much better.
