First, I'd like to thank the outstanding customer service provided by Custom Guitars Friend. I ordered many items and we were able to make sure I received my items before the gig I had to run. The shipping was fast and mostly everything arrived well. A few items weren't of the best packaging, and one Blue mic was completely loose, just rolling about. Some dents and holes in a some of the speaker boxers, a little scary but the items were intact and working properly! I also received a great discount for the holiday, this was a huge plus!

As for the MG20XU, it has many Mic inputs in a smaller mixer than what you'd expect out of this many inputs, making it a little compact really. Everything is laid out well, I have the option of sweeping my mids, 4 aux sends (monitors), effects, and 1-knob compressors in 8 channels. Can come in handy that compressor. Did I mention 12 of the Mic Inputs are both 1/4" and XLR compatible? You can also use a high pass at 80hz on 16 channels. There's lots of versatility in this mixer, it took a minute to get familiar with it. An interesting feature are the "On" button lights to indicate which channels are on. Can definitely come in handy! 2 RCA inputs also comes in handy.

There are no channel inserts and the faders feel a little flimsy, but other than that, it's a great mixer. Time will tell how it endures.

This mixer is great for someone who doesn't need the extra inserts and needs the effects and extra mic inputs to mic a full band. For example - 8 mics on drums, 3 vocals, 2 guitars, 1 bass, 2 keyboards.

.I researched to look for a mixer board to record to my computer and small to medium performances, under 500 people.
Larger concerts I contract the sound out, that use the latest digital boards and related equipment.
I like the ease this board to connect and portability.
Its goes well with my QSC power amps and EV and Peavey speakers.I plan to install it in a SKB case for protection.
Its small light, built tough, and cyrstal clear. effects are ok, Although I have a digital effects unit also.
Plus I use a Drive Rack PA for some bi and tri amp use.

I own a DJ company and do sound for small events. I have only owned the unit for a couple of weeks now.
This rack mount mixer is great. Full of features yet small enough to transport around.
The one knob compression is a great feature.
There is room for all the mics and inputs you could want for a rack mount unit..

.Replaced an older Behringer mixer with this mixer and it made a huge difference. I am now using an all active speaker system and I couldn't believe the levels I am getting compared to my old mixer. I didn't think the mixer would make that much difference but it does. The sound is very clean. The on-board effects sound awesome. It is easy to use and control. It's very light weight and easy to travel with. Has all the features I was liking for.
