I was in the market for a Flagship workstation, along the lines of the Motif XF or the Korg Kronos. I came across this board and it does everything I need it to do.I play professionally in studio recordings, and in church each week. The piano sound, to me, didn't have enough body, so I created my own sound.
This machine has 2 Banks, in which the piano player can store 8 customized sounds to EACH BANK, and you can adjust its tuning, volume and other features to truly make it your own. I used this feature to create my own piano, EP and Horn sections.
I connected this machine to my Windows Laptop, running FL Studio 11. It works as a great controller in both the Demo and the Full Registration versions of this program.
This board featues recording of up to 6 different songs, each one with the ability to record 5 Tracks each. It is great for doodling ideas and concepts, to creating your own full songs.
***BE ADVISED***
This board is NOT a flagship workstation. The memory is limited, It doesn't have a processor like the Motif XF, so if that is what you are looking for, then you need to purchase it. Anything else will disappoint you.
If you are, however, loooking for a lightweight machine that can handle church service, studio recording and live performance, THE YAMAHA DGX 220/YPG 225 IS FOR YOU!
If you need more sounds, you can always connect a 3rd party application, such as Neo-Soul Keys, by Jamal Hartwell, or FL Studio. The device is USB compliant and will work great as a MIDI Controller.

.I am a guitarist, not a pianist. This keyboard allows me to lay down some basic pads (like Hammond B3 and Fender Rhodes) and play some of the fundamental lines I learned in piano years ago to embellish studio and live sound. Keyboard is lightweight, very functional and versatile, the stand and stool and included sustain pedal are all very adequate. I could not be happier with either the keyboard or the value of this package

.I was extremely pleased with this keyboard. It doesn't have a fully graded weighted touch which is most desirable; but, the tri- sensor touch it has provides a great amount of musical sound flexability for different dynamic levels. In short, this piano isn't going to frustrate the player by limiting his ability to play musically. The 76 keys are plenty as most of the highest and lowest keys are seldom used unless you are a concert pianist. Most people aren't. It would be a great gig piano as it is easily moved and easy to set up. The sounds of the instruments are terribly great. If you want to compose with various instrument sounds. There are better sources to use: such as various software programs. Garage Band comes to mind. I was glad I bought the bundled package that came with the stand the bench and the proper wiring.

.I am a high school choir teacher who needed a piano at home to practice songs for concerts and the upcoming musical. This keyboard is perfect for what I need, it's a great size, and it plays really well. Sometimes some notes play more loudly than others and it's not equal sound, but overall, a very great keyboard.

.Received all as described. No problems or regrets. This keyboard is a step up from simple velocity sensitive keyboards and enhancement is heavier touch response on lower keys simulating heavier hammers on bass keys of acustic pianos. Keys do not respond as on more expensive models where keys are truly weighted. But for the price, this is very nice keyboard and the bundled extras are all useable, especially sustain pedal and headphones are nice upgrade from rudimentary items offers with 'survival kit'. Bundled bench and keyboard stand are useable as well. As an adult beginner I enjoy practicing using all items included in this bundle.
