Authentic to the touch
's GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted action has heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch in the high end, just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. Great for the aspiring pianist, practicing on the GHS action builds the proper finger technique for when the time comes to perform on an acoustic piano. Plus the matte finish of the black keys are less slippery when playing for extended periods of time.
Tried and true, 's classic sound engine for realistic tone
AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) sampling uses digital technology to record the sound of an acoustic piano. AWM Stereo Sampling creates a deeper, richer and more spacious sound by using pairs of waveforms (L and R) captured with two microphones. The P-45 uses AWM to play one sample per key at varying levels of volume and timbre.

Slim and stylish form with a depth of less than 12 inches, the P-45 requires little space. At only 25 lb. with a built-in sound system, it can be easily moved anywhere in your home or even used for performance outside.
Simple, single-button operation

.My wife wanted this for her anniversary and it has not disappointed. She like the full 88 keys that are weighted like a regular piano keyboard. The sound is excellent. It sets in the office toward the back of the house, and when she is playing it the sound drifts through house and it sounds like a quality grand piano.

.I'll keep it simple, buy this if you want to learn authentic piano with more portability than a grand piano. It has a weighted function that can be turned off, offers a few great sounds, and the price is better than buying a massive grand piano. I'm new to this instrument, but it's an absolute joy to learn. Everything about it is great! To give it just one con, its limited sound effects might bother some. Other than that, this is the digital piano you want!

.Yes you can buy more expensive with higher polyphony and more sounds but if your like me and 64 note and 10 sounds will do then this is the best quality and best value. You can buy less expensive but it's true you get what you pay for. This is my second keyboard, I took my 61 key to the office to practice with headphone at lunchtime and I've had it for years and have never had a single problem. keyboards are excellent quality and they have great customer service if you need them.
