For sale is a vintage Penzel Cats Eye F-Hole Archtop Acoustic guitar. It was made in Germany and has Made In Germany stamped in the tail piece (as seen in the 8th photo). The guitar is in amazing shape for its age, the frets are perfect, no fret wear or sharp frets. The tuners have been replaced at some point, you can see old screw holes that have been filled in. The action is perfect, nice and low for an archtop but not too low to where it has fret buzz (see the last 2 photos for the action at the first and 12th fret). The bridge sits perfectly flush with the top of the guitar. Bone nut and saddle, beautiful tiger strip/tortoise binding. These are very rare guitars, hard to find them. Comes with a gig bag.
