Great
I origionally bought this case to fit my Jackson RRXMG, thinking there is no reason it would't fit. Its in the name of the case afterall. Sadly though, when it arrived my guitar didn't fit. The molded interior would only fit one of the fins at a time, leaving the other sticking out and absoulutely in no position to close the case without damaging the instrument. "Besides that", the case was amazing, the construction, interior, the locks, everything was extremely well made. But I had to return it because it didn't fit the guitar. When I called customer service, I was informed that this is an unfortunate, yet common occurance with the Jackson RR models not fiting just right. Luckily the guy suggested searching for a case that looked big enough and did not have a molded interior. I eventually decided on a Coffin Case 300VX Universal Extreme Guitar Case, which was only $10 more. And what do you know, it fits like a glove. I'm not discrediting the Jackson case, but if you encounter this problem, that's the best solution I have found. And like I said before, "besides the guitar not fitting", the case was amazing. So I absolutely reccomend this case, but if you own a Jackson RR model and it ends up not fitting, try the coffin case. I hope this helps anyone who has experienced what I went through.

.This case feels like it's built extremely tough. My only complaint is that it is very tight. The guitar only fits if I put the longer wing in first, and I have to sort of force it in there a little bit. But once it's in there and closed, it feels more secure than any other case I've owned.

These cases are great, especially for the price. I absolutely love the one I purchased for my Jackson Kelly, love it! So I bought one for my Rhoads V, same great quality, cool slim design, but... the guitar doesn't fit. The long fin is too long to fit the cutout, it closed but chipped the paint on my guitar. If youre prepared to do a little easy at home modification, buy it. Otherwise, it might not work. For the price its great, I'm used to budget items needing a little massage though, I fixed it right up.

.This really is a great case. My original case for my RR5 was nice but a bit bulky. This is much smaller and lighter. Nice fit, good quality and great protection. The handle has rubber on it which helps a bit when carrying because when the guitar is inside, the headstock end is heavier. If anything, the only thing I didn't like was that my strap didn't fit in the compartment under the neck. I have a thick Dunlop strap and it doesn't fold well. But now I just leave the strap in my gig bag. Overall I would definitely recommend this case to anyone with a Rhoads (or a King V). You really get what you pay for.

.I bought this case for a Jackson RR3 Flying v guitar the only problem is that The guitar only fits if I put the longer wing in first other wise it fits very snug.
The case is really made well has a compartment for a strap, picks, extra strings, a cable.

.After I purchased this case I was told that it would be they also gave me the option to have my money refunded but I refused as I really needed a new case for my Jackson RR 1 this case is the perfect fit for that model guitar and I feel extremely secure that this case will last and keep it protected

The case probably is meant for a starter 22 fret, and that's probably it, sadly.
There is no way that unless you do HOME MODIFICATION, the case will work
with a 24 fret Jackson V just straight on.

.I needed a case for my Jackson King V Pro guitar. I wasn't sure what to get. I am used to slim line cases and wasn't sure about this one. But I felt that to get a perfect fit, I had better go with the Jackson case. When it arrived, I was overwhelmed by the girth and general bulk of it. I almost returned it as I have limited space. However I don't like to rehash all the work and thought it takes with product searches so I went ahead and put my axe in there. I'm used to tilting my hard cases vertically against the wall and letting the guitar fall into the case, and opening it and pulling them out vertically. Its easier than lying it flat etc. However with this case, there is very little depth. So much so, that the V will fall out of the case if you have it open vertically. The safe way is to lay the case on a table or on the floor to make sure this doesn't happen. For a guitar that cost 900, I was expecting more depth in the case. A 1.5 inch depth adjustment would be enough but...

However once shut, the case does have some positives vs other slimmer hard cases. For one, there is a lot of padding on both sides of the case giving you excellent protection. Second, the case stands on its legs vertically without tipping over giving you excellent balance for vertical storage which I do often. (just gotta remember to lay it flat to open and take out the guitar).

It also has leg supports to lay on its narrow side, as well as flat. And it looks elegant. Very Road Tough Case for the King V. If you can get past the bulk of it and the fact that you have to lay it flat to get your guitar out. Then Get it because its Built like a Brick House!

.Great case for a Rhoads or King V. The more form fitting shape fits in tight spaces better than the old rectangular cases (though with a V, it's never going to be compact).

SKB cases are well made and should last a very long time.

.I've read other reviews on this case and seen that some mentioned that their Jackson Rhoads V guitars would not fit correctly, mine fit perfectly fine. I'm not sure if previous year models were different, but my Jackson rr24 pro fits. There are small notches a few inches down the outer angle edge for the offset style of the rhoads body. And inner notches for the dimmelition v as well. Will fit either right or left haned models. Do not worry about the "SKB vs Jackson" argument, because this jackson case is an SKB with the Jackson logo imprinted onto the top of the case. Its built the same and of the same materials, and it literally says 'SKB' on the compartment tab. I dont know why anyone would pay 20-25 more to not have the Jackson logo on the top. Unless you dont have a Jackson.
