I got my KE-2 in 2007 the last year of the Cemetary paint scheme. I had always wanted a Jackson and I ended up making payments on this for about a year before it was paid off. When I say "No Surprises" I mean that what you see is what you get. You wont be disappointed by something of low quality you did not expect. The components are high quality from the woods to the original floyd rose trem to the pups and switches. The quality of construction is very good from the fretwork to the paint. Of course the neck through construction is great. The neck profile is flat and wide as one would expect, very typical Jackson profile. The pickups sound good for most types of playing, although the guitar is slanted towards rock obviously...mine with the paint job looking like the cover of an Ozzy album even more so. Some may think it is a bit heavy but only because it is made from a lot of good quality tone wood, it is well balanced for sure. It doesnt bother me to play sitting down, it certainly is not a big issue like a V. The case it comes in is very nice and HUGE, it has to be for the guitar to fit. It is not super delicate but one should take reasonable care to not knock the pointy parts of the guitar and chip paint off. If you think you would really like this guitar or if you have always wanted a Jackson then buy one, chances are you are going to be very happy when you open up the case for the first time to see your new axe.Jackson KE2 Kelly USA Electric Guitar Black
.I have several guitars, Gibson, Fender, BC Rich, Ibanez, and this guitar is by far the coolest looking, best sounding and playing guitar I have. It is comfortable standing or sitting, works for any style, and that Floyd Rose really does stay in tune no matter how much you use it. If you are thinking about getting this guitar and aren't totally sure, let me help you, GET IT, YOU WON"T BE SORRY.

.This guitar is almost perfect. I put in an emg 81 in the bridge and it is just insane. Very faswt neck, neck through really helps reach the upper frets and the Floyd Rose almost NEVER goes out of tune.

.An absoutely amazing guitar. One of the fastest necks I've ever had the pleasure to play. Great tone. And it looks killer. Only thing I wish it had was seperate volume controls for the pickups. Overall my favorite guitar in my arsenal. I can't stress it enough-just get one!

.This is one well-made guitar. It looks great and plays effortlessly up and down the neck. The pickups are hot yet well balanced. The action was set extremely low but can be easily adjusted, and the guitar is light and comfortable when playing seated. If you're ready to step up from those midrange-bolt-on neck guitars, this will blow them away! Comes with a solid case and allen wrenches.

.Very happy with my Kelly. Only have a couple of complaints. Could have come with better pickups. No locking strap hubs. But I loved the allen wrench holder behind the headstock. The action on the neck is exellent. Also don't like the tremolo bar hitting the volume pot.
