A vicious set of EMG81 and EMG60 active humbuckering pickups offers ferocious lead tones and thunderous heavy metal rhythm crunch. The KH-DC is also armed with a number of high-end components, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, ESP locking tuning machines, and the body is finished in Kirk's signature see-thru black cherry finish, and the entire guitar is outfitted with gold hardware.

I own the best and this matches all of them. I have several Gibson Les Pauls, I love the double cutaway design and when I close my eyes to play or practice it feels so good in my hands. I would buy a dozen more!!!.this was my first electric guitar im a massive metallica fan and this suited me down to the ground. It feels fantastic and looks wise i cant fault it. The flexibility and the massive array of sounds you can get out of it still suprise me and i enjoy playing and learning on it, definatley suggested to all metallica and guitar fans
