This amp is really fun. So far I mostly go on line and use other people's settings to play my favorite songs. This is all super easy using my phone to navigate the free app and manipulate settings. The versatility is awesome.The worst part about the amp is the sound. I came from a Behringer V-ampire but somehow this amp sounds worse. At first I bought the 60W version and it sounded like I was playing the Doom1 soundtrack from my computer speakers in 1995. After returning it and getting the 120W version, I think the larger speaker gave the bass a little more boom. It still sounds like I'm listening to a recording instead of playing live but I have a great time anyways.

.Had this at a couple gigs in Dec. The amp sounds good. It's a loud amp and loud enough for many drummer types, and there is room for the edits you make to it. Easy to make cleans and lead sounds as even. These amps the modeling sounds change a great deal in loudness. Somewhat like MP3's on a playlist. You'll have to adjust things to blend that level balance. The amp design is deep as much as your willing to explore. Fast edits are easy from the panel, but deeper edits in the app is where the fun is. I admit my disappointment to find out I can't use my laptop to edit this. I went to Wally Land and bought a cheap 10" tablet for the Spider V app. To add to this disappointment, the tablet couldn't connect. I had to buy a cable online and wait for that. I considered sending the amp back after this frustration. Finally a few days after my cable was sent I was able to get the app to work. Sometimes it works and sometimes it close the connection and I have to reboot. Then I read on another forum, my type tablet will do that sometimes. Alright, so I have to deal with it.
If I could ask one question of the Line 6 CEO, it would be: why was this made around mobile operating systems? You need to can that idea guy because he failed to notice there is no BT in this like it is the other products ! Next time, include the cables or at least a link where to by them. I spent 3 frustrating hours trying to find out about the things not disclosed in the product videos on youtube, or the Line 6 website. There are no FAQ answers either. I was about 70% decided to send this back. The sound was 30% enough to decide to keep it. I hope your staff are working on pc based editors or it may find it's way in the resale section of Custom Guitarsfriend. If I was Custom Guitars Friend, or other online store I would be making phone calls to Line 6 with a comment "Mac and Windows editors! Get on it !!"

.Great little amp, much improvement over previous version. The xlr DIrect output is great, I run it to my PA and the volume is independent from the amp and PA, i love that it's compatible with my short board and my wireless, both my g30 and g10, great drum tracks, only concernn is that there are not many Drum loops and the tempo is not adjustable, you get what you get, but that is quickly offset by the fact you can connect your iPad to the USB and it essentially becomes the iPads speaker, allowing you to play along any YouTube backing tracks, drums etc...
