I needed a case for my EE-Epiphone-e Masterbilt EF-500RCCE but I wasn't sure if this was the right case. After reading the reviews and looked it up on the EPI website, I ordered it right away. I am very pleased with it. The case is durable and holds my instrument solidly with no slop. It is very well made, has 4 secure clasps (one that locks), metal feet to sit on its bottom side, sit on edge, or stand vertically and horizontally. It has a roomy covered compartment for capos, strings, winder, etc. The case has a nice soft plush liner and of course the logo on the case. If your the owner of an EE-Epiphone-e Masterbilt EF-500RCCE, you should definitely get one to protect your instrument. This one fits like a glove. I bought this case because, I like the way it looked. Very classy cool vintage look, nifty Brown accent color, I like the gold hardware and Comfy handle. All that being said this was the wrong case for my guitar, the Masterbilt AJ-45ME. The case was made for the EL-00, not my Masterbilt AJ-45ME however with very little effort this case provided a very snug and secure fit, couldn't be happier truly delighted. I'm getting the EE-Epiphone-e EL-OO for xmas this year and I wanted a good hard case for it. I don't like gig bags because the just keep a guitar from being scuffed up, no protection from being broke. I really like this case . Plush lined will keep scuffs down. I also heard that is about the only case this guitar will fit. I believe its a great deal and its well worth the money.Epiphone EL-00 Hardshell Case
.ordering and shipping was great but.... right out of the box a small cut on top side at the headstock end, and seam at the hinge side has glue failure . Could be better workmanship. the case will of course acquire a few character nicks over the years but I didn't expect a "distressed model"

.the lid is warped or fitted wrong. when closed and buckled, with the guitar in it or not, there is a 1/4 inch gap between the lid and case on the body end of case.

.I use it to store my epiphone EL-00 acoustic-electric guitar at home. Light enough to bring on gigs (since I'm driving, not walking). Others have said the fit is either too large or too tight; I find it is the perfect size and padded very very nicely. I love the quality and the very classy look of this hardshell case.

.BEAUTIFUL CASE BLACK WITH BROWN TRIM. LOOKS VERY PROFESSIONAL! GUITAR FITS LIKE A GLOVE AND THE INTERIOR IS AS NICE AS I HAVE SEEN RECENTY. EXTRIOR IS COVERED WITH A LIGHT MATERIAL. NOT SUTABLE FOR ROAD WORK. IT WILL STAY IN MY HOUSE SO IT WORKS FINE FOR ME.
