This is a great sounding guitar, the humbuckers get a great distortion, the neck pickup isnt muddy, and it looks cool with alpine white. I expected this guitar to be slightly thicker than it is based on the other les paul models i have played, but it is still a good thickness for me. it is not excessivly heavy, and it plays wonerfully. I usually use my hollow body for my cleans, but this one is still good. i can get nice jazz tones out of it through a fender, but dont buy it for cleans. it is important to realise though that this is still an epiphone, not a gibson. It is a wonderfull guitar, dont get me wrong, but people are saying it is just as good as a gibson which is not true. People were also talking about a fading issue with the gold hardware, i have not encountered this yet and i have had mine for roughly 3 months now so i hope i dont but it is too early to tell if it will be an issue. I hooked up to my friends peavy and tuned it down to drop c with 11 guages and i got some nice metal tones out of it. It is a perfect guitar for anybody who is playing on a budget, i would highly reccomend it for a first/second guitar,if you are still experimenting to find your tone and i absolutely love mine. Have Fun!!!
nice tuners and wiring. not excellent though
slightly off mill work. no biggie though
this is one of the best values that you will find in an lp style guitar

.Overall, I love this guitar. She plays like a charm and reccomend it to anyone.
I Just recenty got this guitar for christmas, but have already fallen in love with it! I recieved the wine red finish, and it is beautiful. You can see the wood grain underneath and it looks like it should be worth so much more than what I got it for. The pickups started to move around a bit but I fixed that easily. I had an Ibanez RG series before, and let me tell you it was no where near as amazing and beautful as this one is. Me being how I am, I named her Echo; when you play it it feels as though the music is echoing through you'r body. It keeps tune very nicely and I have had 0 problems with it, and it plays very smoothly.
Quality is outstanding and beautiful. I was a little worried about the neck because it didn't look like it had a finish, but my old guitar was used so it had oils on it so I wasn't used to the new feeling of a new neck.

.Minus the issue i had with the bridge, this turned out to be a very good buy. I have used this guitar in the studio multiple times because of its tonal clarity. I would reccomend this to intermediate players looking to up the souond quality of their performance.
Its got every feature a Les Paul has to offer. As is the nature with most les pauls, this is on the heavy side, so use a reliable strap.
This is where it got rocky. My tun-o-matic was rather sharp...by this I mean that I was breaking strings on a daily basis. After further analysis, I noticed every string had broken at the bridge. Running my finger along the contact point, it came to my attention that the slots had not been filed since casting, leaving a sharp metal seem that periodically broke strings. This was not difficult to fix, but i was upset that I had to go through the trouble to fix something that should have been caught during inspection. Im not saying this is a problem with every guitar off the line, but if it happens to you, you have been warned.
If you want Les Paul tone on a budget, this is definatly the way to go.

.As soon as I opened the box and saw the beautiful alpine white finish shining in the light I knew immediately that this would be a guitar that I woud have a long term relationship with. As I picked it up I noticed that the EE-Epiphone-e Les Paul Studio Limited Edition weighed more than most guitars I have owned. I attribute the heavier feel to the electronics onboard that promise and deliver high and low end sustain that hangs forever and deep rich soulful tone that stirs your blood. The body design, visual appeal and craftmanship are equally impressive. This includes the wide neck which makes barre chord positioning and changing smooth, clean and clear. The playability, action, and functionality of this guitar make it a major contender with similar instruments priced three or four more times higher than retail for this one. Perfect for the "back porch picker" and yet versatile and dependable enough to be the main axe on the road. Definitely a keeper. Let the relationship begin. Rock on!

.I've owned two Gibson Les Paul's one Deluxe and one Studio and I'm blown away by this guitar. The pictures do no justice to this guitar, the finish was flawless, neck feels like a Deluxe, and the sound is great. Great cleans and with a little overdrive sounds like Tom Scoltz through my Marshall. At this price you should buy one as a conversation piece for the living room, better yet play it you'll love it!

. I love it, I have several lower priced guitars and this is my go-to. The tuxedo finish is beautiful in my opinion and a very neat addition to my collection. Plays nice, has a good feel, although you must, of course, change the strings before you even touch it. It was supposed to be pre-set up, the warranty card was signed off from the factory, but I had to go through it again to make it right. Look, I'm no kid and no rock star wannabe, and money IS a concern because Mom and Dad quit paying for my vices long ago. I was disappointed in my purchase experience this time, because although I had two discounts available and advertised both in the magazine and on the internet, I wasn't allowed to use them. I purchased anyway because I couldn't buy it cheaper. Just think MF didn't stand up and do what was right this time.
Love the guitar, not too thrilled with the purchasing experience.
Beautiful finish, no flaws. Love the gold finished hardware.
Somewhat overpriced, but show me a guitar that isn't? I also have a Epi Special II that I think plays just as well for a lot less money, just doesn't have the electronic features, carved body, and glued on neck (though I kind of wonder about that).

. It felt good in my hands and was easy to play, neck was smooth and stright, set up was very good, intonation was right on, the color was really pretty, Wine Red
It has just about everything a person would wont in a electric guitar
Found NO flaws any where
Bought gently used and well worth the money.

.Wanted another LP with a carved top and set neck. Glad I waited on this one! Beautiful fit and finish. Got the Gold cause it was on sale! Delighted when I opened the box! Looks Sweet! Played right out of the box just fine. Just finished lowering the action it just gets better! BUY THIS!!

.i had a fender strat before i bought this guitar and one thing that really stands out is how much better sounding the rhythm pickup is. my strats bridge pickup is a little edgier but both the neck and middle pickups just sound dull and plain aweful. the bridge pickup on this guitar doesn't have quite as much crunch but the rythm pickup is just fantastic. I think my only beef with this guitar would have to be its not as comfortable to play as my strat, the sides of the guitar arn't rounded so after an hour of playing sitting down they start to dig into your ribs but not that big of a deal.
pretty much just your standard electric no extras but you dont need any for yourr guitar to sound great. gave it a ten because you get everything you need out of an electric.
