Come to the Mountain and get off the beaten path for a while!
Here is a Pair of '69 Oxford 122L6-2 12's good for guitar, 16 ohms! If you want period correct speakers or to change the sound and tone of your speaker hear they are. Fender, Gibson and many others used these speakers. These came out of a Vox speaker column. Cones appear to be original and in good condition a little dusty!
Nominal ohms is 9.9 and 10.4, we tested them and found no issues
Numbers are 465-908 465= Oxford 9= 1969, 08= February 122L6-2
We did not see any rips, metal dust cover is in good shape no dents.
I DO HAVE 4 OF THESE SPEAKERS
Shipping price is for the Continental Usa only! ALASKA, HAWAII AND PUERTO RICO ARE EXTRA TO SHIP TO. SO EMAIL FOR A PRICE BEFORE BIDDING.

AND FROM THE INTERNET
Oxford replaced Jensen as Fender's primary speaker vendor in '61, primarily because Jensen wouldn't build to Fender's spec. As "magic" as the Jensen name is today, back in the day guys cursed them because they were anything but robust. It's why you see so many tweeds and early browns with replaced speakers. Oxford alnicos are arguably just as good or better than the Jensens they replaced, and the early (pre 64) ceramics are pretty good as well. But, the main thing is they were tougher and lasted. By the BF era they seemed to lose something on the top end, and tended to have a rather muddy bottom. Hence the name "Oxfart"
Any questions email and I will be happy to shmooze with you!!
