I have decided to sell my Custom Rascal Audio 16 channel Analog Tonebuss summing box. I had Joel Cameron build me this summing box last year in order to complete a project that I had been working on. This Rascal Audio Tonebuss has all the typical options of 16 channels of input (on DB25) which are summed through some amazing sounding makeup gain. Channels 1-2 and 3-4 are switchable from mono to stereo and have beefed up switches at my request. Channels 5-6 have the option to send direct signal out as well.  

What makes this particular Rascal Audio Tonebuss special is that I had Joel install a circuit which allows the stereo sum to be sent out of the unit at microphone preamp level at the flick of a switch mounted on the front panel. If the switch is down, the stereo sum functions normally, going through the Rascal Audio's makeup gain section and out stereo outputs 1-2 and 3-4. If the switch is pushed up, the stereo sum bypasses the Rascal's makeup gain section and is sent out outputs 7-8 at microphone level. This allows you to connect outputs 7-8 to any stereo microphone preamp and use that to drive makeup gain, giving you your choice of preamp flavor for makeup gain on the stereo sum! This allowed me to use the box with my tube mic pres for example to get summing with tube color across the mix when I wanted, and at a flick of a switch, I could go back to the Rascal makeup gain/etc. Truly a terrific custom option which makes this an incredibly versatile summing box!
