Featuring the original Leo Fender SC-2 body shape, instantly giving it an old-school 60's vibe; the Fallout is a stylish guitar and has a striking design. It's solid mahogany body creates rich sustain and a warm tone making it inherently strat-like out of the box.
As Leo Fender had a hand in these guitars they are incredibly similar to Fenders, but Leo decided to take these a step further and improve them. The bridge now has six individual saddles for improved tuning stability, better sustain and intonation. Although this is a minor change it becomes apparent instantly, the guitar feels tighter in construction and more solid when played. New and improved custom designed Alnico pickups have also been included; these new pickups still keep the spank of a Strat but are now more dynamically responsive and generally 'tighter'. With these new design features in place the fallout looks like a classic guitar but has revitalised and improved it's existing ideas.
