This American Elite Dimension 5-string bass is everything I was hoping it would be. The tone is amazing, the playability is excellent and its incredible, and it's extremely versatile. It's got killer looks, solid electronics and great hardware. The pickups are stellar. The oiled neck feels so smooth; it's comfortable to play for hours. However, the second fret was nearly dead and the bass needed an extensive setup right out of the box. I don't mind doing certain maintenance but it did need a stop off at my local shop to get it to where it should be, which was quite a bummer.
