I purchased this item so I could keep my semi hollow body acoustic guitar and acoustic bass out in my living room cause I am constantly picking them up and wanting to play them. I came across this item and thought first of all..the Fender name, must be a quality product! I have to say, it seems to be a fairly good quality product. The main problem I have is with dimensions. When I first opened the box and was trying to find the right screws to use I tried to line the screws up with the manual that said "actual size" ...but none of the screws were the size that was shown in the picture (see picture). Then, after I finally unpacked everything and got it put together I was ready to proudly hang my guitar and bass on it. But then I came across the second problem. There are no dimensions for this thing listed anywhere that I could find. So you have no way of knowing what will fit on it or not. But on the Fender website (and every other website) it clearly stated that it will fit "Any guitar or bass design" My guitar, fit perfectly. Then I went to put my bass on it, and there was a thud on the baseplate as my bass hit the bottom before the arm caught on to the headstock. I would need at least another 1-2" of clearance to be able to make the bass fit on it. So here I am stuck with a nice looking guitar holder that I can't return because I already assembled it, that wont work with what I bought it for in the first place.
