So far, I have yet to dislike anything about the CD CE100. I am one of those veteran guitarists that seek higher quality instruments for decent prices. I figure, most of the time you are paying for the name anyways, and so when I set out to buy an decent acoustic that would fit my budget since I lost my last one. This one did it for me, and although I have yet to try it in a live environment, I am still quite pleased with it.
Not only does this instrument sounds and plays well, the feature I like best is the Fishman Isys III System with Active On-Board Pre-Amp and Tuner. This instrument in my opinion does not need much equalization, 'cause it sounds so damn good!
Being a veteran musician, my ears are pretty perceptive and self-trained to what sounds good to them, and when I tested a lower-priced Seagull out in my local music store, I was not pleased at how it and the other acoustics I tried sounded; I came back to this Fender model for a second try out.

The sound caught my ears almost immediately from the moment I picked it up, and quality-wise, the fast feel of the fretboard, the texture of the wood, and the binding and overall natural look of this guitar is impeccable.
The value of this model is very exceptional, as I feel that I have purchased a "BMW"...but at "Ford" prices.

. I recently took delivery of a "Condition 1 - used" Fender CD100CE acoustic electric (part of a MF order totalling over $260.) This guitar is truly a mint baby, and it takes a keen eye to see the very slight scuffing. Action, intonation, and mellowness of sound are all pretty much what I was hoping for. Fit and finish, as well as quality of hardware, are encouraging. Overall, this particular Fender seems to be a very good choice in the $200-$300 category -- and an even better "Used" choice at $217.49 (a savings of roughly $32 over a brand-new model.)

.This was my first guitar. I love it, it sounds really great, the one thing I have to complain about is the tuning. It goes out of tune very easily, but its not that much of a pain to fix.
