I bought one of these as a replacement for one I previously lost, and after about 2 hours, it snapped off in my bridge leaving the threaded part still in the hole. I had to buy and install a whole new bridgebecause this piece of trash was so flimsy. .This will work for all import tremolo guitars but a squire affinity series because the affinity is not 6mm but more 7-9mm big hole. To my knoledge there is no replacment tremolo arm to the affinity. If you want this anyway you should get a solid tremolo block. Possibly a import sized bridge replacment which i've found at guitarfetish.com. Otherwise buy this for your mex or other imports.

.I ordered this item, returned it, and returned the exchanged item as well. This part number does NOT fit the affinity strat! It must be for a standard strat only. It is too small at the threads. It drops right in the hole instead of threading. The packaging on both were labelled as a tremolo arm for a standard (Fender) Mexican standard. There was a sticker on the back that said trem for Squier KC.

.I recently bought a Peavey Predator and after some trial and error found that a trem bar with a 5mm thread would fit. I bought this item along with some fender springs that install in the same hole and it all fit fine and seems functional. I'm only giving it 4 stars at this point as I don't know how well it will hold up, but I'm not expecting any problems.
