I own a Fender Victor Bailey Acoustic Bass. Since I?ve owned it I have gone through many sets of strings. I?ve tried the Ernie Ball Earthwounds, the GHS, the D?Addarios and others I can?t remember. The Fender strings seem to be the best. They are the correct gauge for a Fender VBA So they don?t knock the truss rod out of adjustment, which means the bass actually stays in tune. (The other brands all requires numerous truss rod tweaks before the bass stayed in tune across ALL the frets). Also, when you first get them on, they?re a little too bright, but after only about two to four hours of playing, they start to sound perfect, and stay perfect for a few months of heavy playing. Personally, I like the way they sound old, but since the Fender strings are under $15 (others I?ve tried are at least $20, and I?ve paid over $50) you can replace your strings every few months, if you want to. Honestly, I?m not usually a fan of Fender strings (I use Rotosounds on my jazz bass and my upright), but these strings are great. You can really funk with them, but they also get a piano like sound if you want them to sound that way. By using your hands, you can squeeze any tone you want out of these strings.I am so happy to see Custom Guitar?s Friend stocking them. I?ve been having to special order these.

.I tried these once on sale, and thought they sounded as good if not better than the Martin Strings I was using on my Martin BM-1 acoustic bass guitar. A good string. I change them twice a year and play the bass a lot.

.I ordered a set of these strings to replace factory strings when my new bass got here and have quality sound when the band did our first set of acoustic on stage. No problems installing A,D,G strings but when i went to tune my E string it broke when i hit a D. I could hardly believe it, First being Fender, second being an E string; ussually u can pull a truck with a bass E string. Must have been a factory defect. Oh well, Other strings sound great and stay in tune. Will have to order another set for the E. I will try another set of these just so the strings match

.I use these on my Martin ABG, a high quality instrument I use alot for Gypsy Jazz playing. I tried a number of strings until I found the Fenders. They sound good, feel good, and last a reasonably long time, and the price point is terrific. I would buy them even if they cost more. Good Strings.

.These strings sound great on my Ibanez acoustic.
Fender 8060 PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC BASS STRINGS
.I picked up a used Fender Kingman bass, and as far as I know, these are the strings that come with it from the factory. I like them a lot as the tension is nice and light, and they don't have that over-the-top super-brassy sound that a lot of other brands of phosphor bronze strings do. They seem...softer somehow, as the string noise is less pronounced when moving up and down the neck. In short, they just feel good.

.No complaints about this strings at all. Don't throw your money away on other more expensive brands.
Fender 8060 PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC BASS STRINGS
.I use these on my Michael Kelly acoustic fretless bass. They sound the best over some other brands I have used. They produce a warm pleasant sound that really blends well with vocals during quieter passages. However, they cause some finger noise which requires me to tighten up my technique and that's a good thing.
Fender 8060 PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC BASS STRINGS
.I put these on my BG-32 Fender Bass. They sound great.
Fender 8060 PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC BASS STRINGS
.The strings have a real nice clear tone. Great deal for the money.
