I like nickel wrap strings for my Fenders, which tames the sometimes shrill highs. I have Vintage Noiseless pickups on my Strat and they make it sound more mellow and full. Due to the longer scale, I use .009 sets due to some finger issues, which makes these easier to bend. I bought a Rogue acoustic electric guitar, for an inexpensive beater. I was going to return it because it sounded so bad. I had a set of these fender 150 L strings waiting for placement on my fender squier. The difference was huge. Much more volume, brighter sound. Reduced finger noise. Made my little inexpensive guitar a prized unit. If these strings were flat wound they would be perfect!

This is one of my 3 name brand strings (Ernie Ball and Stay In Tune). I like the tone of the pure blues strings. These have a nice "feel" to them. Seem to last as long as my other 2 brands and i like the tone (especially on single coils). Nice glassy and shimmering highs and well defined bass. Very good price for Fender strings. .Good tone range. Great bending of notes. Easy on fingers. And hopefully long lasting. I went from regular weight to light. The tone is twangy, higher, but that is easily fixed by tweeking something else. Fair price so buy some extras! Thanks fender I use these on my EJ Fender strat.
