After a painful theft, the replacement Telecaster arrived yesterday. I'm an old-school Tele kinda guy.
This new one uses the old style brass 3-saddle bridge, which I prefer, but something hew has been added to the electronics. Telecaster now has a 4way selector switch! And it has a push button phasing switch built in!!
Wow, all possible wiring combinations of a Telecaster, that used to be hardwired are now select-able!!! The Les Paul is still queen of the studio, but this iteration of Telecaster is impressive!

.I wanted to upgrade from my Squire Affinity Tele and I'm really happy with this choice. The tone and playability are noticeably improved and the overall quality, look and feel are a big upgrade as well. If you're looking for that "next step" guitar that you'll never really outgrow then this is a great option to consider. SOOOOOO PSYCHED!!!!!
