I was sent a completely wrong item. They sent a cheaper SKB case rather than this product. Very poor customer service. I sent the SKB back immediately and am still waiting to hear back from the company.Fender Jazzmaster Hardshell Case Black Orange Plush Interior
. If I were to do it over again I'd buy different case. I really don't care if it has a Fender tag on it. Still the case works and does it's job okay.
Black case, black interior. 2 keyed latches, 1 flip latch. Padded inside. Plywood construction?
Case is kind of warped it will shut but seems to leave a gap at both ends. Not real bad. I've had better cases. The latches look cheap and the spring in one of the latches is too weak to open all the way. Hinges pop when you open the case. I hope it holds up to allot of travel.
They should give these away with the guitar instead of a gig bag! I don't think their as good as some of the other cases available.

.I bought this Fender Jazzmaster Hardshell case for a 1970's jazzmaster. I received the case and discovered that the guitar did not fit in the case. I spent about an hour trying to figure out if I was crazy. I tried turning the guitar upside down, backwards, all possible combinations. The guitar did not fit. It looks as though the case was designed for a left handed stratocaster/telecaster. Thinking the warehouse made a mistake, I called and exchanged the product for another. Same problem. I would avoid purchasing this case.

.This case is not made by Fender, though it does have the name plate on it. Regardless, the case seems to be built OK but I have a Classic Player Jazzmaster and it would not fit correctly.
The guitar has to go in on an angle and has to be sort of wedged into the case. The headstock barely makes it inside the case, and does not fit down into the padding around it - a hard impact to that end of the case, even if closed and locked, would probably damage the guitar.
A Jaguar might fit a bit better since it's a hair shorter, but I can't say I know for sure. Needless to say I wouldn't trust my guitar in this case, so I sent it back and bought an SKB case that the JM fits into perfectly.
Even if I had a guitar that would fit this case, I would only trust if for taking it for repairs or to a friend's house. I doubt it would hold up to the rigors of touring.

.This is a fantastic case made by G&G for Fender. I had purchased one in black with black plush previously that I figured out would work for a Marauder I also have. Since the Lake Placid Marauder goes well with the black case, I ordered this one in brown with gold plush for my Jazzmaster which is sunburst and looks really cool against the gold interior. I've got several tweed and black cases, but have a couple of these brown cases and find them really classy yet vintage looking at the same time. Very pleased overall with the G&G cases.

.Very pleased with the Fender cases. I much prefer these over the cheaper, generic, lighter weight cases for my guitars. These cases are actually manufactured by G&G and built well, similar to how they've always been made. This case works well with my Jazzmaster. The Jazzmaster case also works well for the Fender Marauder. This particular black case (black lining) had the hard plastic handle. I really prefer the soft leather-like stitched handles which some have, but the plastic would probably hold up better with lots of use.
