I changed the pickups to Seymour Duncan Hot Rails. Replaced volume pot with 500K potentiometer and Seymour Duncan tone pots. Replaced the cheap plastic nut with a real bone nut.Replaced saddles with Graphtech saddles. This guitar is now a weapon.

Here's the not so good: Very low pup output, unusually low in fact. Perhaps a bad solder joint or short.Fret buzz on first three strings

Contoured heel nice feel
This one could have been a dud but compared to the G & L s500 I tried out a couple months ago this fender cant hold up. In every respect, except for the trem system the G & L is a much better product. Unfortunately for me the bad trem was a deal breaker.
