Very nice for a Mexican Strat. I reviewed the older version that did not have the body routed out for the Floyd rose bridge a couple years ago. I stated then that I would pass on that model because of the body not being routed. Also stated if Fender were to change that issue, I would buy several of these. Well they finally did this, and I finally purchased one to check it out. I will not buy several because I only liked one of the three colors its available in. Out of the box. looked sweet. After tuning and stretching the strings, I locked her down. Very impressive. Very happy with it. Didn't realize at first that the humbucker pup can be tapped by the 2nd tone knob (push/pull). Unexpected bonus for me even tho the description probably states that it has the S1 switching, just overlooked it. Bridge humbucker is hot, but could be hotter. Not complaining about it... my fav overdrive/distortion pedal fixes that instantly. Clean tones are sweet as they should be. Don't care for the chrome coil on the bucker, but that's just cosmetic and me being picky. Feels great in my hands and is comfortable to play. Out of the box, the action is great, intonation is just about spot on. Not enough to need adjusting at this time. With strings stretched properly, tuning stays dead on even with heavy trem use. even after it sitting in a case for a week, tuning is still dead on or may have gone a lil sharp on one or two strings depending on temp and humidity. I love it. If your checking this guitar out, go ahead and pull the trigger. If ya don't like it, return it.
