Product Features

Straight from the studios of Music Row in the home of country music—Nashville, TN—comes the Deluxe Nashville Tele, a tonally versatile performer with a unique (for a Tele) three pickup design. A distinctive entry into the Fender family, this Tele growls, snaps and screams with flexible tone that can match any song. With its original Fender style, customized switching and fast, smooth playing feel, this Tele is ready to command any stage from the local honky-tonk to the Grand Ol’ Opry.

Two noise-free, highly articulate Vintage Noiseless Tele pickups inhabit the neck and middle positions, flanking the Vintage Noiseless Strat pickup in the middle to create an unbeatable trio. These pickups crank out rich, articulate tone, with the balanced string response, definition and twang you’ve come to expect from a genuine Fender instrument. Flexible five-way Strat-oTone pickup switching unlocks various pickup combinations, providing the perfect sound for any performance.

Enjoy increased sustain and slightly thicker tone that complements the famous Tele twang, thanks to the modern six-saddle string-through-body bridge with block saddles. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes.

Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a three-ply B/W/B or mint green pickguard, along with knurled flat-top control knobs and a black switch tip. A truly versatile performer with flexible sound, player-oriented features and original aesthetics, the Deluxe Nashville Tele merges the best of yesterday and today into a single, affordable design. Includes gig bag.

I'm a big fan of the noiseless pickups and the fender locking tuners. Really makes this made in Mexico guitar stand out. The gloss finish is great looking and the components seem first rate. Coming from a Gibson fan. I would buy this one at this price again.

.Well I just got my second Nashville tele. The first one I received Had a neck issue right out of the box. I immediately contacted musicians friend and initiated a return. I brought the guitar to UPS for shipping and contacted MF with the tracking number. Well after days of calling and giving them the tracking for the fourth time I was finally able to get them to ship the exchange back out to me. I got the exchange today and opened the box like a kid on Christmas. Only to find that the items that come with a new Fender guitar such as the adjustment tools, the owners manual, the instrument registration card, and not as important but still should be there Fender bumper sticker were not in the box. This led me to believe that I was sent a open box item as an exchange even though I paid for a new one. Again I found myself on the phone and getting the same answer that somebody would be contacting me. I have been a loyal customer with MF for over a decade and have never had to deal with this level of nonsense. As for the guitar I will update this review once I get a chance to really play it. If MF did replace my purchase with an open box item then shame on them. That is not the way a customer should be treated. The Guitar may get 5 stars but the service on this purchase gets 1 because 0 was not an option.

.It's everything I thought it would be and I'm very delighted with it. It's a solid, good sounding guitar and it's gorgeous looking, I chose the white blonde

.This is a great guitar. I'm used to playing stratocasters and this tele gives you nice telecaster and strat tones. The neck has good feel, the radius makes it really fast and fun to play. I'm a fan of the tuners, they work great. The pickups are quiet and they don't sound muffled. Five options on the the pickup switch and they all sound good. I would say that if you're looking strictly for a telecaster tone, you could find a better option, but if you want the best of both, this is your guitar. I watched a Dawsons youtube review of this guitar that left me unimpressed, but that is not at all what this guitar sounds like -- it has a balanced and full tone. The craftsmanship is great for the money. In my experience, Mexican Fenders these days are of good quality. I'm not a fan of lightweight guitars and this one has a good amount of weight. The sunburst looks very nice. I'm playing out of a Vox AC10 and after a good setup, it sounds perfect. I got it as an open box and was somewhat skeptical given that it was a really good price, ordering online and all, but I'm very happy with my purchase.
