I recently purchased a GT MicroBass and was looking for a small, lightweight amp to use with it. As many do nowadays, I read many reviews and forum threads to see what experienced bass players were recommending.

What I found was that the new Rumble series was recieving high marks for sound and build quality. (Not to mention being the lightest in weight, reasonably priced and packed with GREAT features!)

After receiving mine, I agree. The sound this thing puts out is amazing! AND..... since my main instruments are guitar and mandolin, I was curious as to how this amp would perform with these. While it is definately NOT a good idea to use a guitar amp with a bass, the Rumble v3. 40 works quite well as an option for my guitars and mandolins. The lack of a tweeter or horn for the highs is helped by Fender's addition of the "Bright" switch.

In my opinion..... If you are looking for a versatile amp with a LOT of features that's about half the weight of others in this size range, buy it!!

.Though I have played guitar for 26 years, I just recently took interest in bass. This amp is exactly what I needed; something that is small enough for the home but doesn't sound tinny and cheap. No rattles, no funny noises, the EQ options are excellent as is the 1/8" plug for headphones. I play a Fender MIM jazz bass through it and it sounds wonderful. And the price! THE PRICE! Usually you get one or the other, but with this amp you get a great price AND a high quality amp.

Are you on the fence reading this? Just buy it, you will not be dissappointed. For home use, this amp cannot be beat with all the features it has.

.New rumble just looks a lot better than the old rumble.
Light weight Bass Amp, good sound at a great price.
I don't have to put on my reading glasses to change settings.
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.Love, love, love this thing!! Did I mention I love this thing! May be small but great things do come in small packages. Great classic look, powerful, punchy, and resonant (way beyond it stature). I also has a huge amount of features for a smaller amp. Love the overdrive, Contour, and vintage switches, gives you a great amount of variety with out buying extra effects pedals. Super light. would be suitable for smaller gigs, or used as a monitor for any venue were you can plug into their system via the XLR out put on the back (also has ground lift switch). Also really shines as a recording amp. Best money I've spent on an Amp in along time ( I got in on a temp. price drop, and got it with 20% off holiday sale to boot!!!!!).
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.I've bought 2 of these and used them for guitar, bass guitar, keyboard and electric drum monitor. It has a built in direct out, sounds great and it's super light.
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.Great little amp for me to learn how to play the bass. It's light, small, easy to use, and sounds great. Lots of convenient features as well as a headphone jack and input for an MP3 player. Highly recommend this little workhorse.
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.I wanted a small rig for band rehearsals. this rig fits the bill, plus it has a Di out so it can be pumped through the PA. extra features include phones out for quiet rehearsal. placement of dials and buttons are on top for easy viewing. good looking amp. If I need a bigger rig later, I will go with fender rumble again!
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.I use the amp for practice and small church venues. Tried a Fender 25 watt regular amp and it did not put out the sound that the rumble 40 makes. Fender has improved greatly on their quality for bass amps. Very light and has good sound. Can't crank up the gain to high or feedback will be a problem, but this is not made to play at large venues or outside concerts. Great small café amp as well. Hopefully Fender will keep the cost affordable for all musicians. New and old.
Fender Rumble 40 1x10 40W Bass Combo Amp
.Can lift with little finger, great sound, powerful. Sounds as good as bigger and more costly amps.
