I own one of these guitars and it plays as well as my Gibsons and Fenders. There may be some difference in quality among these individual guitars, but the quality control seems very good. .I have owned this guitar for several weeks and I can't put the darn thing down. My wife is jealous.
Let's face it. Anyone who is looking at the Ibanez hollow body guitars is doing so because they can't pony up the cash for a upper end Gretsch. If that is your jones, then this is your new ax. I may decide to pony up the cash to drop some T.V. Jones pick ups, but the pups that come stock are capable of some serous twangin'. The thinline body is also more comfortable to play without sacrificing the full hollow body tone.
Steps to enjoying this ax
1. plug it into something with solid tube tone
2.put on your best 50s silk shirt
3.get to twangin'!

.I love the current Artcore full hollowbody I own. The only problem I have with it is the location of the pickup selector switch. Just can't get to it quickly and easily. I would like to have an Artcore with a tremelo bar. I see you have one but look where the switch is! Now it will be even harder to get to it. Ibanez has mounted the switch on their semi-hollow body in the right spot. Why can't they do it on this one?

.Overall this was a good trade for an old rifle! However, the pickups need replacement, frets on high E, B, G strings from 3-12 are dead! Changing strings is no fun. The pickup selector switch is in the wrong spot. I'm taking it into GTBGR to have it overhauled! Besides all of my complaints, I believe that this Beauty will play as nice as it looks. If you can find one of these hollowbodies at a below four bill wallet hit, you're going to like it. I'm interested in playing some sweaty Teddy Tunes on it when I get it back from repair

A true hollow body electric that projects well without amplification is a very convenient way to practice and encourages use. When you want the juice you got it and it's even more fun. great neck and fret board.
