Product Features

The Ibanez Tube Screamer is one of the best overdrive pedals ever produced, hands down, and the TSA15 tube combo amp features a true Tube Screamer circuit that delivers that same legendary overdrive. The TSA15 combo features a 12" Celestion Seventy 80 speaker and can deliver everything from natural clean sounds; fat crunch tones; and even warm, smooth overdriven tones with the modified TS9 circuit built right into the amp.

Guitarists normally have to depend on a separate effect pedal to get the distinctive, warm overdrive sounds of a tube amp. No more! The new TSA15 Tube Combo Amp has a genuine Tube Screamer circuit built right into the front end for all the warm tube overdrive punch and crunch you'll need. Includes footswitchable functionality with Tube Screamer Overdrive, Tone, and Level controls. IFS2G footswitch sold separately.

I am beside myself with this amp. For me its the find of the year. Probably the finest thing I have bought for music. It was more than I could afford but seriously worth it. I totally love the sound, the verstality and the quality.
Fully featured with a tube screamer circuit built into a 15W tube amp. 12" Celestion speaker. Boost circuit, ability to swap between 5W and 15W. Only thing missing is reverb.
Really very nicely built and finished. Looking through the grills its obvious the tubes are not mounted to the PCB.
Sounds better than amps costing at least 50% more. I lobe it and thats what counts in the end.

.I bought this amp for the cleans. I was between this, and some of Fender's all-tube amps. Flat out, the cleans were superior on this amp. I give them a 10/10. I would rate Fender's a 9/10. The built in tube screamer circuit is accurate to the TS9 and good to achieve low-medium gain.
Truly, the tone on this amp is pure, warm, and organic.

.Great Amp! 6V6 tone for me is the way to go. For 80% of my gigs I play through a Fender Deluxe Or Fender Super Sonic, all with Eminence Cannabis Rex Speakers. This Little Ibanez Tone Box sounded great out of the box. Beautiful Fender like cleans, and the tube screamer... well sounds like a tube screamer. Can't go wrong with that. One issue was, stock... it was NOT loud enough to play with a band. The other was that it would have been nicer with reverb,

So I modded it. I replaced the stock celestian Seventy/80 speaker with an Eminence Cannabis Rex. I rebiased the amp (hotter), as it is biased VERY cold from the factory, and installed a Danelectro Fab Echo in the circuit. It sounds unreal now. So Stock its a really great amp. Modded it is unreal.

.I've been playing guitar for more than a decade and have far more amps than I need, but I got a steal on this one and have fallen in love with it. It even managed to dethrone a Mesa Express as my main practice amp.

When played clean, the TSA15 creates the sound of a silverface Fender amp from the 70's: very clean and chimey with that classic glassy tone that is hard to find outside of the Fender line. On the 5-watt mode with the boost on, you can get natural, sweet-sounding authentic tube breakup at a volume that won't wake the neighbors.

When played with the Tube Screamer circuity engaged, the amp sounds like...well, a 70's Fender with a Tube Screamer. I was instantly in Stevie Ray Vaughan land, digging in with the pick to get the biting, hard blues tone that seemed effortless on the TSA15. And it nailed every tone.

My only concern with the amp is that it's too quiet to keep up with a drummer at a loud venue. However, that will come as a blessing to anyone who uses it as a practice amp. Also, I'd love it if the amp featured a built-in reverb. But for the price and the sound, this amp is one of the best affordable tube amps on the market.

.I've been playing for about a year and a half, and his is my second amp. I had a Fender Mustang 2, which was a good little starter amp for me, but after I "babysat" my brother in law's custom tube amp (made by my friend Bob at The Airtight Garage) over Christmas, I knew I wanted to upgrade to a tube. I was looking for something in the 300 - 500 range and I lucked out to find this little gem on sale at a great price. I've been very pleased. The tone is great with my Strat or my PRS. Clean, it's clear and warm. The Tube Screamer ranges from giving the clean a little character to some decent grit. If you are like me an looking for a good starter tube amp with some good oomph, you'd be pleased with this one.

.Bought this amp open box from Custom Guitar's friend, loved it from the second I opened the box... Built in OverDrive and a boost that adds great sparkleand kick, cleans that rival fender but blues and butter with a little push (Two words "Tone Machine"). BUT i did notice one thing INSTANTLY! My friends Jet City 20 watt is 3 x louder than this 15 watt.... dosnt seem right. I am preplacing the tubes as soon as possable. the speaker seems really... dense... like a wet blanket... could just be the fact that its new and needs a few more gigs to strech out.
Also big disappointment in the fact that the amp has no reverb.. but whatever.. just means another benjamin for a holy grail. The tolex covering is soft and thin... a screw from my guitar already scratched it and a ruber foot from a backup amp tore it... gunna strip it and paint it or laqure it.
The honey moon was rough but after 3 gigs the size is nice and seems sturdy all in all it will be with me a long time!
