Active ADX5 humbucking pickups provide quiet yet dynamic, punchy sound from all five strings, giving you your own taste of Fieldy's signature growl. Two different-sized bobbins provide even string output individually calibrated for the neck and bridge positions. A Vari-mid EQ with sweepable midrange allows you to dial in any kind of bass sound, including Fieldy's preference of no midrange at all.

Overall 10 out of 10. I can't imagine using any other basses after getting this one. Nothing can compare. Ibanez and Fieldy created a masterpiece.The features of this bass are amazing. The Vari-Mid III eq is phenominal for getting any sound. The active pick ups give an extra punch and the Hipshot tuners keep this bass in tune at all times. The body is comfortable and slightly different from the SRs it was based off of, being a little thicker. Very lightweight and versatile.
Even though this isn't a Prestege model, it has Prestege quality. All and all worth every penny. It is durable, and has such amazing tone and sound.
The value is well worth it. Although sometimes I wish they would make a cheaper model of the bass for those who are on a bit of a cheaper budget. Still, worth every penny.

.I love this guitar, the signature sound it produces and the way it plays. I listen to alot of Korn, and Fieldy was my inspiration to begin playing bass, so I play alot of Korn songs. So what better guitar to get then then K5 Fieldy signature bass. Long story short this is my dream guitar, and i'm so glad I finally got it.
