On the G string, between the 9 th and 12 th fret, tone is suppressed and distorted because the neck resonates on a harmonic frequency.Also, all notes played on the E string, from the 18th fret onwards are suddenly suppressed for the same reason.
Ibanez S520 S Series Electric Guitar Blackberry Sunburst
.This is my first guitar with a locking whammy bar, despite many years of wanting one. I have to say, I normally don't write reviews, but the other two reviews at this time are so unjust and silly.
This guitar is easy to set up, despite the locking Edge-Zero II system and my inexperience. I have the weathered black one that they don't seem to sell on Custom Guitar's Friend. It is thin and light, and therefore easy to handle for people with smaller stature or back problems, to say nothing of gigging musicians who don't want a heavy guitar on stage. The stock electronics are great, and I can't see myself changing pickups or other parts in the future. The neck is small, but the jumbo frets and seemingly wide neck makes the guitar very easy to get around.
This guitar is no slouch, and it's really fun to play. I've been wanting an Ibanez S for a while, and I'm so glad I finally have one.
