So...PLEASE READ THIS if you are interested in this guitar. I bought it at a good sale price and found it to be truly a good value. I was looking for a fairly inexpensive LP style guitar that sounded good enough to take to rehearsal and be a workhorse. I don't want to beat up my higher end guitars that have some degree of resale value-I tend to be hard on guitars. This guitar fit this bill perfectly. The craftsmanship was great out of box. I had to do my own setup but that is fine-most guitars get out of wack when shipped. I was able to get really low action with no buzz. It plays quite well. Very good fretwork. The schecter pasadena and pasadena plus pickups are hotter sounding vintage humbuckers with a mid-rangey punch (I like that-you may not). They kinda remind of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. The thin C shaped neck is quite small as far as feel. Its the complete opposite of the chunky 50s les paul style neck. Feels sort of like those thin Charvel necks from the 1980s.So, its great for rhythms but you can't get quite as much traction for bends. Its definitely more of a shredder neck I guess.

The input jack and tone pot did have to be tightened on the guitar very soon after getting it.

Overall, it is very good guitar for the price and serves its purpose for me quite well.

Then there is the other part the story. I tried to purchase another one because I was so pleased with this one. Thought it be cool to have another one for alternate tunings, etc. The next one I ordered was terrible. Significant blemishes all over it where the binding met the black satin. Couldn't believe it was the same guitar. These were glaring blemishes. I sent it back and got another. The next one had similar issues though the blemishes were not quite as bad. However, one of the tuners was quite loose and input jack was very loose and fell inwards when I tried to plug in. I sent it back and did not get another. Schecter clearly had significant quality control problems on this model.
