I bought this bass around August and it is worth every penny! The action is perfect and the with of the neck is easy to run up and down. I'm a long time guitarist and decided to play bass, this bass opened up a lot of range for my music to grow. I never thought Id say this bout a instrument but "I cant find a darn thing wrong with it!"

.I am a relatively new bass player and graduated from a 4 to a 5 to a 6. I'll keep the 5, it has some nice features that this 6 does not but I am already in love with this one. Looks great, sounds great, plays easily with great tone. A happy customer.
Tone and Volume for each pickup. Might be nice to be able to blend a bit more, but still able to get a great sound.
I've only had it 2 weeks, but so far, it holds up nicely. Stays in tune through a couple of hours playing and everything feels solid.
I'd say, for the money, this is one of the best basses I've played. Easy to handle, not too neck heavy though you've got to expect some of that from a 6.

.This an awesome bass. Straight out of the box it was set up properly. It just needed to be tuned up. Took it to my local guitar technician and he said the sound and intonation was near perfect. Excellent investment for a really good 6 string. My only minor concern was the finish on the hardware had began to fade. Im not sure how long it sat in a warehouse. It was no big deal though.

.I bought this bass brand new from Custom Guitar's Friend. After a year of use, the bass still sounds brand new! This is such an excellent bass! The action on mine is a bit low at times, but is easily adjusted. I hope you guys enjoy this bass! You will not regret buying it

.I used to think of Schecter as the 'heavy metal' guitar, but it looks like they've grown up since the mid-80's. I was originally going to buy a Spector, but I went to a music store and the only 6 they had was a Schecter. I was instantly grabbed by it's clarity through the whole range. And it's SO easy to play. The neck looks a lot wider than it feels. You may need to raise the B and E strings a little to get them to speak properly, but they are for the most part set up really well right out of the box. I'd thoroughly recommend on of these great basses for a good mid-grade professional level bass.

.This bass is awesome. I've played on peavey, fender, Honher, and many others, But this bass has it all.

.I have been playing bass for about 3 years. This bass is amazing. It sounds so great. The 2 band eq makes it pretty versatile. Not only does this bass sound great, But it looks so beautiful. There are no downsides to this bass. My only complaint is that there were a few scratches on the tuning knobs that were there when I opened the box. I guess the factory did it when stringing the bass. Other than that this bass is perfect. It comes set up and ready to play. I would recommend this bass to anyone.

.I played a 5 string version of this bass in the store and loved it. The 6 string Schecter Custom bass is a little neck heavy; but what 6 string isn't? The finish looks awesome. The EMG HZ pickups are great for slap. But the 2 band EQ makes this bass pretty versatile. I was impressed that the bass was strung with Elixirs, which are the strings that are made to last. I recommend trying one out first, but for this price, you can't get a better 6 string.

.I'm not going to write a review on how amazing this bass is because EVERYONE already knows it's a solid bass. The only thing I experienced that is bad about this bass is the constant noise that can come out of it. Everytime I play an open B, the rest of the strings vibrate.. it can be quite annoying, but it doesn't pose an extreme problem if you play with your fingers.. since your palm is almost always on the strings. Pretty epic bass though, it is GREAT with chords. I've had people mistake my bass sound for a guitar at times.

.I already own the (Schecter) lefty 5 string (an incredible boomin' bass in its own right, that is second to NONE). I bought this bass with the intention of changing the strings and going lower than the "B" string, to an even lower "G". However, after a few short sessions, I realized that with that extra (high "C") string, the characteristics of this guitar are more akin to an acoustic 12 string vs. an acoustic 6 string. Its still a bass, but more mellow. I'll keep it as such. Next, I'm quite interested in the Studio 8. We'll see !!!

NOTE: I own strictly Schecter, Ibanez and Conklin. These companies got it down. ALL other major brands (and I do mean ALL) make a puny attempt (pretty funny really), at accommodating the left handed. I've owned lefty fender jazz & precisions basses & lefty hamers (flipped over) & gibson SG's. These companies (and ALL the others) rate a far distant second in terms product choice & quality. No sour grapes here (really), I finally have (a slew) of quality sounding beautiful guitars !!!
